Ontario PNP Latest Draw: OINP Express Entry and Nomination Updates
OINP Streams
Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) has several streams. **Human Capital Priorities (HCP)** is linked to Express Entry—Ontario searches the pool and issues Notifications of Interest (NOIs) to candidates with CRS scores and occupations that match provincial needs. **French-Speaking Skilled Worker** targets bilingual candidates. **Skilled Trades** is for those with experience in specific trades. **Employer Job Offer** streams (Foreign Worker, International Student, In-Demand Skills) require a job offer from an Ontario employer. **Masters and PhD Graduate** streams are for Ontario graduates. Each stream has different eligibility, draw frequency, and processing. OINP does not charge a fee to register, but you pay when submitting a full application.
What Draw Results Show
Draw results typically show: the stream name, the date of the draw, the number of NOIs or invitations issued, the CRS score range (for EE-linked streams), and sometimes the targeted NOC codes or French language level. OINP publishes results on its website. Tracking these helps you understand if your profile might be selected. CRS cut-offs for HCP have varied from the low 400s to 470+ depending on occupation and demand.
How to Improve Your Chances
Ensure your Express Entry profile is complete, accurate, and up to date. Ontario selects from the pool—you can't apply directly for HCP; you must wait for an NOI. If you receive an NOI, you typically have 45 days to submit a full application. Improve your CRS if possible (language, experience, education). If you have a job offer in Ontario, the Employer Job Offer stream may be an option. Consider other provinces if Ontario draws don't target your profile—diversifying your strategy increases options.
